Fiddles on Wheels is a labor of love, born the day Sherry McKenzie and Cindy Roberts met at a fiddle jam. In the months following, they connected at fiddle lessons and fiddle contests. There were lots of discussions about fiddling, fiddle history, and fiddle players. The more they spoke, the more they knew they wanted to ensure that the music, history, stories, and names would endure long after they were gone; thus that jam was pivotal in the formation of Fiddles on Wheels.

 

FOW's desire is to pay homage to fiddling and to help keep the music alive through performance and education. It was created with this purpose in mind.
